About the AFMSCP
The AFMSCP, Association of Social and Cultural Women Mediators of Pantin, is an association under the French law of 1901, created in 1988 and formalized in November 1994. Its main activity is social and cultural mediation. Mediation is available through on-call services, support for people in difficulty, social integration and accountability.
AFMSCP organizes actions in the following areas: integration, social, cultural, health, family, digital, school mediation, energy, local and international solidarity. Its main objectives are to fight against exclusion, discrimination, regulate conflicts, strengthen cohesion and create an interface between residents and institutions.
The challenge
The objectives of the AFMSCP are to:
- Promote its actions to its target audiences.
- Find funding, in order to develop and sustain its actions.
- Build loyalty and develop partnerships.
- Retain loyalty and attract new members.
The solution
The AFMSCP must communicate in a targeted, coherent and clear way on viable projects, to achieve its objectives. Indeed, its projects must meet the needs of the target audience and the expectations of potential financial partners. This promotes memberships, partnerships, donations and long-term self-financing.
Work carried out:
- Feasibility studies, SWOT analyzes (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) and benchmarking.
- Definition of strategies and action plans per project.
- Organization of meetings and meetings with residents, members, users, partners and volunteers.
- Drafting applications for grants, sponsorship and patronage.
- Defense of projects before juries.
- Self-financing action plans.
- Creation of print, web and video communication tools: posters, flyers, signage, roll-ups/kakemonos, badges, invitations, emailing campaigns, newsletters, web articles, web banners (French-English), community management, slideshows and promotional videos.
- Development of public and private financial, logistical and material partnerships.
- Creation of press kits and management of media relations.
- Management of relations with the printer.
- Evaluations, reporting, assessments, restitutions and activity reports.
Colors
I used the existing AFMSCP color palette (purple, yellow, orange, red, black, white, green, blue and burgundy red). The palette is multi-colored, because the association is multidisciplinary.

Fonts
For the creation of the communication tools, I used the Now Alt font as the main font, in compliance with the graphic charter. This font allows you to form soft, warm and inviting messages, which corresponds to the AFMSCP.
For the titles of some actions, I used decorative fonts for a specific use, because they are more appropriate. They attract attention, trigger a strong impact and highlight the visual.

Visibility and conversion
The quality of communication tools strongly contributed to the results.
- Optimized visibility (website, newsletter, social networks and emailing).
- Development of conversion and member participation rates.
- Increase in the number of visitors and conversion at trade shows.

- 2015: jury prize in the competition "Social development meetings" organized by APES, OGIF, FRANCE HABITATION and ASTRIA.
- 2011: Star of Tolerance prize, competition organized by the Île-de-France Regional Council.

The AFMSCP, the participants, Le Relais des Parents and the painter-sculptor Yao Metsoko, were awarded "The jury prize", during the “Social Development Meetings” competition. The competition was organized by APES, OGIF, FRANCE HABITATION and ASTRIA.
